Join us for our 15th meeting of WWODS, where we will be talking about our latest book read (Of Blood and Bones by Kate Freuler), snacking, and raffling off our next book! If you have not read the latest book, you can still jump right in, have some fun, and learn about the upcoming book.
📖ABOUT THE BOOK:
Shadow magick occupies a critical but often misunderstood role in the rich history of witchcraft. This book explores topics such as the ethical use of animal parts and bones, blood magick, dark moon energy, and other rarely discussed aspects of witchcraft.
With a focus on ethically sourcing materials and suggestions for plant-based substitutions, author Kate Freuler provides much-needed information and hands-on techniques to help you strengthen your witchcraft practice, connect to nature, protect yourself (and your kith and kin), and know yourself in a deep way. Within these pages, you will also discover methods for hexing, scrying, sex magick, and working with dark deities in addition to the magickal use of graveyard dirt and performing spells to assist the crossing of a dying loved one.

✔️Every 6 weeks, we’ll choose and alternate between fiction and nonfiction witchy books that explores different aspects of Paganism, witchcraft, mythology, folklore, or spiritual growth.
✔️ Come prepared for lively discussions, thought-provoking insights, shared experiences, feasting and crafting or games (our crafts are thematic to the current book read, and periodically we’ll play a witchy game).
✔️Each meeting, we’ll raffle off the upcoming book on our reading list!
✔️Everyone is welcome! Simply grab a copy of the book (or audiobook) and come ready to share your thoughts, questions, and insights. Whether you’re able to read every page or just dip in when you can, the most important thing is your presence and enthusiasm!
